We are looking for a Vietnam-based, passionate tech leader whose mission is to drive the success of a newly founded HRS Technology Unit covering a unique venture within the HRS Group. HRS is creating a new technology unit based on our existing successful platforms developed and operated from our Innovation Hub in Ho-Chi-Minh City, Vietnam. The new Technology Unit will be an exciting challenge for a passionate engineering and tech leader by integrating and developing new technology, ramping up, and leading the engineering teams of the new business venture. You will ramp up the new team, integrate it into the existing development hub, and define the new platform's architecture along with the CTO of Government, Crisis & Insurance Solutions.

The engineering mission of HRS is to build a scalable, resilient, and secure platform to serve our global customers. HRS is seeking an inspirational Head of Engineering for the Government, Insurance and Crisis Solutions platform. We seek a “StartUp mindset" for technology-driven solutions and a leader who will attract, develop, and lead a strong team of developers, Architects, QAs, and DevOps and advocate HRS’s Technology mission. The Head of Engineering will report to the CTO of the Business Unit.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand and develop requirements and ascertain priorities
• Build up the solution, and product framework and deliver the MVPs
• Align the solution and applicable technology with HRS group’s technology strategy
• Build up the dynamic and innovative team
• Manage the Agile software development life-cycle to optimize the processes and improve development productivity
• Prepare and present the progress reports to upper management and stakeholders

• BSc and/or MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with MS technology i.e. .Net on both front-end and back-end
• Experience in leading a development team following the agile methodology
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS or Google Cloud
• Ability to grow up to the higher position
• Fluent in English in written and verbal communication
